Where memories live

What is MemoryCloud?

MemoryCloud tackles Mac OS storage issues by archiving large photo and video files to the cloud. Each stored file is replaced by a compressed, high-quality version stored locally on your computer. Working with both iPhoto and iTunes, MemoryCloud provides easy access to your favorite files, while saving precious hard drive space. Learn more about how MemoryCloud works.

Why we use MemoryCloud

Simplicity

Select, drag and drop a file to MemoryCloud to upload. Archived files are easy to identify by the MemoryCloud watermark stamped on the retained compression. Select, drag and drop the file again to retrieve.

Security

MemoryCloud uses Amazon's state of the art cloud computing and robust storage technologies which provides an unsurpassed level of scalability, redundancy and security.

Integrity

Each uploaded file is compared to the original. After MemoryCloud verifies that the files are identical, the local image is swapped with a compressed version.

How much does it cost?

The MemoryCloud App is free to download. We offer three subscription options depending on your storage needs. Want to try it out first? Our free plan provides 250 MB of storage.

Reliability

How Reliable is MemoryCloud?

MemoryCloud utilizes Amazon’s S3 cloud technology, designed to provide 99.999999999% durability of objects. What does this mean? According to Amazon’s own figures, if you store 10,000 objects using S3, on average you would expect to lose a single object once every 10,000,000 years.

That’s pretty reliable!
